The Perpetual Help Lady Altas celebrate after their 5-set victory over the San Beda Lady Red Spikers 20-25, 25-11, 22-25, 25-17,15-6, in the NCAA Season 99 Women’s Volleyball Tournament on Tuesday. THE Perpetual Lady Altas regained their winning form by defeating the San Beda Lady Red Spikers on Tuesday in the continuation of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Season 99 women’s volleyball tournament at the Fil Oil EcoOil Center in San Juan City.
Shaila Omipon topscored with 26 points, 21 in attacks and four service aces, while reigning MVP Mary Rhose Dapol contributed 17 points, 15 in attacks plus two aces. The win boosted the Las Piñas City-based lady Altas’ bid to advance in the second round of the tournament alive.Meanwhile, the defending champion Altas spikers of coach Sinfronio Acaylar remained flawless in five games, beating the Red Spikers in straight sets, 25-14, 25-22, 25-22.
