St. Viator's Nicky Pastore and Cade Faulkner can be a handful.

The duo each scored five goals as the Lions rolled past Fremd 22-4 Friday in the Stevenson sectional final in Lincolnshire.

Fremd tried to stay close as the Vikings played even with the Lions in the second quarter and trailed 11-3 at the half. Emerson McGrath scored three goals for the Lions. Wes Starr and Keaton Franzen each scored two goals while Carson Wilder, Leo Izquierdo, Anthony Tomlin, Franco Caputo, Dallas Starr and Carson Hart also scored for the Lions.

"We have great leadership on this team," first-year coach Evan Chikeles said."Great players, great seniors. I couldn't ask for a better team to come in and start coaching. They were motivated to get this far. St. Viator is very talented."
