Ministers are poised to overhaul the system to ensure that the Minimum Wage keeps pace with living costs.
Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds has now directed the independent commission to factor in living expenses when proposing future rates. "Our new deal will protect working adults with a genuine living wage, creating a stronger, fairer and more aspirational future for work in Britain."
