Minerals Council of Australia’s Chief Executive Tania Constable says the same job, same pay reforms from the Albanese Labor government should be about fairness and opportunity but it is “anything but”.

“This policy should be about fairness and opportunity and it’s anything but,” Ms Constable told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“With the proposal as it stands, businesses are not sure how this is going to work in practice and there is quite a lot of concern that somebody that has been there for six months will be paid the same as someone that’s been there for six years.”
