De La Salle University (DLSU) scored a big bounce back win, demolishing University of Santo Tomas (UST), 91-71, in the UAAP Season 86 men's basketball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Satur
day, October 7.Kevin Quimbao and Joshua David poured 14 points apiece to lead the Green Archers, who recovered from their 72-77 defeat to their rivals and defending champs Ateneo Blue Eagles last Wednesday.
La Salle thus improved to 2-1 and kept UST winless through three games this season.Nic Cabañero carried the scoring load with 25 points on top of five rebounds for the Growling Tigers, who absorbed their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season.
