One of San Antonio 's best bakeries has a new home on Broadway . La Panadería Bakery Café opened a new location Oct. 13 at 2503 Broadway in the former Fratello 's Market & Deli . The new spot is the first in a wave of expansion for the brand. La Panadería plans to open restaurants in Southtown and Stone Oak next year. Brothers José and David Cáceres opened their first La Panadería at 8305 Broadway in 2014. They also have locations downtown at 301 E.

La Panadería's latest location is in the heart of the bustling Broadway corridor just minutes from the Pearl, Brackenridge Park, The DoSeum and other attractions.
