Drone show and Bird Rock and Barber Tract parades are on tap.
With Independence Day upon us Thursday, July 4, La Jolla is getting ready for its annual celebrations.
About 200 synchronized lighted drones will form iconic images in the sky during the 15-minute production. Beach & Tennis Club President Bill Kellogg has been trying to raise donations for this and future drone shows. To donate, go toor send a check to the LJ STEAM Foundation at 7742 Herschel Ave., Suite L, La Jolla, CA 92037. Donations must specify the Fourth of July Drone Show as the designated cause.The 45th annual Fourth of July Parade on Beaumont Avenue, themed “Super Heroes and Every Day Heroes,” begins at 10 a.m.
