Thirty-one people remain missing after the deadly fires in Southern California.
The devastating Eaton Fire and Palisades Fire have left many elderly residents missing or deceased. Authorities are actively searching for human remains and have released the identities of some missing individuals. The community is grappling with the aftermath as officials work to assess the damage and locate those still unaccounted for.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of people reported missing following the LA County fires is asked to call the Sheriff's Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or send tips to visit lacrimestoppers.org.According to the sheriff's office, 24 people have been reported missing in the Eaton Fire. However, only the names and photos of 10 people missing in the Eaton Fire have been released.
