El fiscal Karim Khan anunció el lunes órdenes de detención contra dos dirigentes israelíes —entre ellos el primer ministro Benjamin Netanyahu— y tres dirigentes de Hamás.
La CPI ha dictado órdenes de arresto contra otros dirigentes en las casi dos décadas transcurridas desde su creación. En marzo del año pasado, el presidente ruso Vladímir Putin fue acusado del secuestro de niños ucranianos. Fue acusado junto con Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, la comisionada rusa para los derechos de la infancia.
