Los líderes de la ciudad de Chula Vista están pidiendo a su colega del consejo, Andrea Cárdenas, a renunciar a su cargo debido a cargos criminales que enfrenta. La nueva concejala dijo el lunes 6 de noviembre que quiere tener la oportunidad de defenderse primero.
'Mantener esa confianza en las circunstancias actuales es sencillamente imposible'. El vicealcalde José Preciado se hizo eco de las declaraciones de McCann. 'Andrea tiene derecho al debido proceso y a la presunción de inocencia en los tribunales, pero lo correcto para ella ahora es dimitir del Ayuntamiento', dijo en un comunicado.
