The man is accused of assaulting and killing his 26-year-old wife, Zibuyile Ngubeni, with a two-pound hammer, KwaZulu-Natal Social Development MEC Nonhlanhla Khoza said on Monday.
"It is alleged that the man fled the scene after killing his wife. However, he continues to threaten her family members through phone calls. The motive for the murder has not yet been established. The deceased is survived by her young children," Khoza said. She said the failure to arrest the accused from the first incident still left many unanswered questions for Ngubeni's family.She said:
