She used approximately $250,000 from the money she’d earned from modeling gigs to pay for her first 15,000 lip kits.
By 2018, Jenner sold an estimated $360 million worth of Kylie Cosmetics products. She branched out to other forms of makeup and business was good. By November of that year, Jenner had made an exclusive deal to sell her products, previously only available online, in Ulta stores. In the first six weeks of sales, Kylie Cosmetics sold roughly $55 million worth of products. Just a few short years after starting her first business venture, Jenner was already a multimillionaire.
Until 2019, Jenner had owned 100 percent of her company. In November, she sold 51 percent to Coty Inc. for $600 million. Though she’s no longer the majority shareholder, Jenner and her team. It was a busy 2019 for the mogul, since she also launched a line of skin care products called Kylie Skin. The new business is estimated to have made $25 million in its first year.
