In a statement to, Pierce said he had rejected any entitlement to the funds, calling claims otherwise a"manufactured controversy...designed to discredit me."In the interview with Carlson, Rittenhouse called jail"scary" and said other inmates did not like him. But he said those inmates were able to hear his side of the story and see that he was not this person that the"media painted him out to be.
"Once I am bailed out, John Pierce said I was in an unorganized militia, which is just blatantly false," Rittenhouse said.
