The Amerks pulled out a win in dramatic fashion Wednesday night on the road against the Laval Rocket.
Jiri Kulich netted a hat trick in a game that started with the Amerks leading 3-0, before the Rocket stormed back to tie it up at four goals apiece heading into overtime.
But then, Rochester got a power play, and Jeremy Davies barely missed two shots before Kulich cleaned things up and sealed the win with his third goal on the night. It was the second straight game where the 19-year-old netted a game-winning goal in overtime for the Amerks , who sit atop the Northern division standings.
