Kuching Archdiocese to celebrate Memorial Mass for Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI on January 5

In solidarity with the Funeral Mass in St Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City, Rome, the Archdiocese of Kuching will celebrate a Memorial Mass for the Pope.

It will be presided by Archbishop Simon Poh at the 5.30pm Evening Mass at St Joseph’s Cathedral, Kuching on 5 January. The Archdiocese invites the Catholic Community to come and pray together.In an Obituary Notice released by the Chancellor’s Office dated 2 January 2023, a Memorial Table with a Book ofCondolence has been set up at the Holy Family Chapel, for those who wish to honour the late Pope Benedict XVI.
