Just one year after joining KSAT-TV as a general assignment reporter, Daniela Ibarra is starting a new position at the station.
KSAT-TV reporter Daniela Ibarra is marking one year at the local station by diving deep into new stories. In a social media post Thursday, the San Antonio native announced that she joined the station's investigative team KSAT Investigates. 'I’m excited to have extra time to dig into stories here in my hometown that hold people accountable,' she wrote on X.
Ibarra came to KSAT-TV in July 2023 as a general assignment reporter. It wasn't her first stint at the station — she credits a 2017 internship under investigative reporter Dillon Collier for getting her interested in the investigative side of journalism. 'Shout out to @KSATDillon for pushing me over the years to make this happen!' she wrote in her recent X announcement. Before starting at KSAT-TV, Ibarra worked at North Texas Television, KTXS in Abilene and KTUL in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
