Community members raised concerns as elephants have been leaving the Kruger National Park via a broken fence and roaming in their yards.
SANParks and the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency assessed the Kruger National Park’s fence between Numbi Gate and Matsulu on Saturday.
The assessment team was comprised of scientists and conservation officials, including section and regional rangers.
