Kroger to open food halls featuring Hardee's, Nathan's Famous, other chains

The grocery chain will open food halls inside its grocery stores, featuring national chains like Saladworks and Nathan's Famous

The newest food halls in Columbus will soon open in three Columbus-area Kroger stores, courtesy of California-based ghost kitchen company Kitchen United.'s first Ohio locations will open in Krogers at 3417 N. High St. in Clintonville, 7625 Sawmill Rd. in Dublin and 300 S. Hamilton Rd. in Gahanna. The Gahanna location will open the week of Nov. 7, while the other two will open before the end of November.

Each Mix Food Hall will offer food from at least six national restaurant chains. Each location will feature the following lineup: Clintonville: Hardee's, Pei Wei Asian Kitchen, Wow-Bao, Nekter Juice Bar, Saladworks, Fuku and Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. The food halls will be located in Kroger's deli area, at 800 to 930 square feet each, depending on the location. The Dublin and Gahanna locations will also include in-store seating.
