McDonald’s is planning to sell Krispy Kreme doughnuts at its restaurants nationwide by the end of 2026, but the rollout will begin later this year. They plan to sell them all day.
Two titans of the quick-service industry have officially tied the knot, so they’re celebrating with freebies for the rest of us. Krispy Kreme has announced the arrival of its doughnuts in Chicago-area McDonald’s restaurants. Starting Oct. 15, customers will be able to enjoy three flavors of the chain’s doughnuts at McDonald’s before the offering rolls out nationwide by the end of 2026. While the rest of us wait for that expansion, between Oct.
Krispy Kreme says it plans to serve fresh doughnuts daily in more than 1,000 McDonald’s restaurants by the end of this year, and reach a total of 12,000 by the end of 2026. “The top request we receive from consumers is for more access to our delicious, fresh doughnuts,” said Josh Charlesworth, Krispy Kreme’s president and CEO in a press release.
