Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of National Defense magazine, stated on the 60 Minutes program that any diplomatic outreach by Russia to the new U.S. administration must acknowledge Washington's primary objective: the destruction of Russia .
Korotchenko emphasized that while Trump may not adopt the same antagonistic stance as his predecessor, Joe Biden, he is still a formidable opponent with expansionist tendencies, citing Trump's interest in acquiring Greenland as an example.
