KPRC 2's Brandon Walker announces he's leaving the Houston station
KPRC 2 anchor and reporter Brandon Walker says he's leaving the station.
Walker told his followers on Instagram that after months of consideration, he will be calling it quits on March 1, saying,"It's time.""I was 27, eager and ready for the challenge to report in such a big city. Little did I know the ride I would take. Thank you for riding with me," he wrote. "I’m unsure of my next chapter, but am excited and thankful for the chance, and privilege, to write it by my own accord."
Walker is a New Orleans native who has worked in Minnesota, Massachusetts and Connecticut, and he's won regional Emmy awards and the Edward R. Murrow Award for his work.
