The chain operates seven locations in the Garden State

, popular for its Korean fried chicken, is adding more New Jersey spots to its catalog of restaurants.

The chain has agreed to open three new Garden State eateries: one each in Hudson, Morris and Union counties. Exact locations have yet to be determined, as Bonchon is currently seeking specific sites. Planned opening dates also have yet to be announced. ”Based on the success of our locations in New York City and other parts of New Jersey, we knew North Jersey would be ideal for expansion,” Amanda Millikan, Bonchon vice president of development, said.The companyBonchon recently reached an agreement to open three new restaurants in New Jersey's Hudson, Morris and Union Counties.

The expanding Korean eatery offers a variety of hand-battered, double-fried chicken wings, legs, strips and boneless wings.Bonchon’s name translates from Korean to English as “my hometown” or “my roots.”
