The brainchild of Christian von Koenigsegg proved its abilities at the famous track in California, with a lap time of 1:24.86
A Koenigsegg Jesko Attack recorded a lap time of 1:24.86 at the Laguna Seca Raceway. The Swedish hypercar became the fastest homologated production car around the Californian track. Development driver Markus Lundh drove the Jesko around the track, in his first-ever run at Laguna Seca. Koenigsegg broke the lap record for homologated production cars at Laguna Seca with the Jesko. The hypercar lapped the track in 1:24.
The company published onboard video footage of the hot lap, which took place on Sunday, August 18. The Jesko Attack can be seen effortlessly eating away the straights and appears to be pretty stable around the corners. Both the Koenigsegg Jesko Attack and Absolut variants are powered by the same twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine, producing up to 1,600 hp running on E85 fuel.
