Mainoo has earned himself a call-up to the England first team after impressing in his debut season with Man United
Kobbie Mainoo has deservedly been praised throughout the 2023/24 season for Manchester United, and with an England debut possibly looming, EA FC 24 is tipping the midfielder to become one of England's best.
Mainoo played for England from U17 to U19 level, but the youngster skipped the U20s and U21s to earn his call-up to Gareth Southgate's squad. But what's most impressive is Mainoo's potential rating, with EA Sports tipping the youngster to reach an overall rating of 86 out of 99, which would make him one of the best English players in the game.
Compared to his United teammates, Mainoo would be the joint-second highest-rated player in Ten Hag's squad, matching Casemiro's rating but just off Bruno Fernandes . EA FC 24 is the first EA Sports game that Mainoo has featured in, and the publisher does tend to underestimate the potential rating for a first-timer, just in case its judgment is slightly wrong.
