In honor of the show's premiere, Screen Rant interviewed Adam Pally to discuss Knuckles, the joy of giving Wade a heroic journey, the unique experience of working with the puppeteers for the titular echidna, and training to become a believable bowler for the show. Pally's Past Sonic Movies Work Helped Him Find His "Rhythm" Working With Knuckles As he takes on a bigger role in the show, Pally found himself interacting far more with the puppeteers and visual effects teams responsible for bringing Knuckles to life.
And then, I think by the time I was here doing it, I had done it enough that it was like being given the keys to a Porsche, and you could like really take it on the road and bend the rules and go really fast. There were times where I got to do that, and then and then we worked seamlessly to make it fit.
And Stockard Channing is a legend, she's Rizzo. When she started, after like, day two, she had a little bit of my Midwestern inflection, and it was hilarious to me. I was like, "She's talking like me." And then Cary Elwes, that's The Princess Bride, man. Every day was like a new wild nostalgic feeling, and I'm just so proud of it.
Pally "Couldn't Ask For More" From The Sonic Franchise Beyond Knuckles, Pally's future in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise remains unclear, particularly as he has yet to be confirmed to return for the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 release. Though Pally is content with what's been given to him thus far, he does have one hope for Wade going into the future:
