“That was my first exposure to chicken powder in 2009. And there was no looking back since then,” Ninong Ry, Ryan Morales Reyes in real life, told Manila Standard Cravings.

He would feature Knorr Chicken Powder in several of his videos, prompting one of his fans, who have adopted the moniker “Mga Inaanak Ni Ninong Ry,” to put his photo across three cans of the seasoning in February 2021. “Of course, we at Knorr got excited, and we thought, here’s somebody who really embodies foodservice operators and chefs, is a loyal user of Knorr, and is not afraid to share his secret,” she added.

“Consistency is the greatest challenge for food service. Consistency is now within reach with Knorr. It is also easy and convenient to use,” Ninong Ry added.
