Benoit Blanc is returning for another star-studded case with the first Knives Out 2 story details. Daniel Craig returns to lead the cast of the murder mystery whodunnit after garnering a Golden Globe nomination for his turn as the eccentric private detective investigating the death of a wealthy mystery novelist. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will see Craig joined by a star-studded roster including Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr.

If Knives Out was about the murderous ties of flesh and blood, Glass Onion makes a good case for being just as wary of one’s closest friends. When a tech billionaire Miles Bron invites some of his nearest and dearest for a getaway on his private Greek island, it soon becomes clear that all is not perfect in paradise.
Though the genre is better known for its death-based cases, some were left wondering what the nature of Knives Out 2's mystery would be once the title was revealed to be Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, notably leaving out the word "murder.
In addition to confirming his reason for his Mediterranean vacation, and Edward Norton's character, it's interesting to note that the Knives Out 2 story details describe the film as a continuation of Blanc's story, leaving some to wonder whether the events of the original Knives Out will even be referenced.
