The Knicks were mocked a fair amount during free agency when they used a chunk of their $70 million in cap space to sign four power forwards.
But now that training camp has rolled around, the Knicks say their size will be an advantage both offensively and defensively against smaller lineups.who spurned the Spurs to sign a one-year, $15-million deal with the Knicks, said this week

Early in training camp, the team has emphasized defense. Gibson believes the size should help the Knicks get back some of the pound-and-ground approach they had during the 1990s when Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley and Anthony Mason made it painful for opposing players to foray into the paint.
