for his involvement in the shooting death of a 55-year-old homeowner, for which he was later sentenced to 30 years in prison, according to ABC 13. He was out on bond at the time of the crash.
“This is my opportunity to give back to students from a school that we came from, so it felt a little bit more personal,” Williams said. “And then in light of the event that happened, I just wanted to remember Summer in a positive way rather than the negativity that happened.” “We would like to make it bigger,” Bell said. “Just now, it's just us two so we're always going to continue to put our money into it to help give back to the students but going forward we would like it to grow and get bigger. That way we can help more students out.”
“I was always raised to give back so, the scholarship in general was always something I wanted to do,” Bell said. “We decided to name it after her because around the time, we were trying to plan out the name and what we were going to do with the scholarship, which unfortunately she passed. We wanted to honor her memory so that's why we ended up naming it after her.”
