Here’s what you probably are not aware of. KL is officially the city in Southeast Asia with the MOST number of skyscrapers – a whopping 241 tall infrastructures decorating the KL city alone. Jakarta and Bangkok come in 2nd and 3rd, respectively, according to data released by Seasia Stats via its Instagram page @seasia.stats.The data shows a total of 35 cities, and 10 cities in Malaysia made it to the list! Penang and Johor Bahru are ranked 6th and 7th for the cities in SEA with the most skyscrapers, and Petaling Jaya stands at the 14th spot.
The data is measured on the scale of the buildings’ heights – 150m +, 200m+, and 300m+. So, here’s the breakdown of the number of skyscrapers in different Malaysian cities based on the heights.For this height, only Kuala Lumpur made it to the list, with a total of 6 buildings standing at this height.
