In a statement today, Federal Territories Minister Annuar Musa said 93 homeless people from the first batch of interviewees would begin work on May 13. Another 51 homeless people will be interviewed by three other companies, namely Top Glove Sdn Bhd, Tesco Malaysia and Trendcell Sdn Bhd which owns Jaya Supermarket.The homeless people will be given jobs at supermarkets as well as the food and glove-making industries.

Aside from job opportunities, they will also be given skills training by Giat Mara and the Kuala Lumpur Industrial Training Institute.
