PCFR investigators said due to the nature of the fire, they were called in to investigate. However, they said the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
PANAMA CITY, Fla. - Panama City Fire Rescue crews report they rescued multiple kittens from a residential fire Saturday night.
PCFR officials said at approximately 10:55 p.m., they were called to the scene of a fire on Cypress Avenue. They said when crews arrived, they saw heavy smoke and fire on one side of the building. Crews said they learned the residents had gotten out safely but that there were still kittens inside.Firefighters were reportedly able to save all three kittens that were inside and handed them over to Bay County EMS for initial treatment.
