The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office is searching for 69-year-old Judy Gail Smith who is wanted in connection with a hit-and-run incident that occurred last September. Smith is accused of striking a 64-year-old woman in the parking lot of the Happy Laundromat in Bremerton. Surveillance footage led to Smith's identification, but she has not been located. A $20,000 arrest warrant has been issued.
The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating 69-year-old Judy Gail Smith, who is wanted in connection with a hit-and-run incident that occurred last September. On September 21, 2024, Smith allegedly struck a woman, identified as 64-year-old Denice Noice, while driving a silver Chevrolet van through the parking lot of the Happy Laundromat off State Route 303 in Bremerton .
Noice, who was visiting her son in Bremerton from California, sustained injuries as a result of the collision. Surveillance cameras captured the entire incident, providing deputies with footage of the van's license plate and the driver. Smith was subsequently identified as the driver. Deputies state that Smith has no known address and the van was found abandoned in Bremerton shortly after a description was released to the public. Despite ongoing investigations, Smith has not been located. On Thursday, the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office announced that Smith has failed to appear in court and a $20,000 arrest warrant has been issued for her. Anyone with information regarding Smith's whereabouts is urged to contact the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office immediately.
