Actress Kirsten Storms denies claims she waited to report apartment break-in after ex-husband filed court documents. Storms, 42, claims she reported the break-in before her ex-husband filed for custody of their daughter, Harper Rose , in December 2025.
The break-in allegedly took place in November 2025 while Storms was out of town for medical appointments in St Louis. Storms shared a photo of the damage to her apartment door, taken in August 2025, and claimed she had been in communication with the leasing office to get answers on the damage and to locate building camera footage.
Storms explained that she waited to post about the alleged break-in after moving out of the building, citing the difficulty of accepting what happened. She also expressed her gratitude to followers for their encouraging messages and hinted at a possible update on her General Hospital return, although it's not coming any time soon. Storms and her ex-husband, Brandon Barash, are entangled in a legal battle over custody of their daughter.
They tied the knot in 2013 and welcomed Harper Rose the following year, but their romance came to an end in 2016
