A King County Sheriff’s Office deputy was injured in a head-on crash in Snohomish County, which involved another driver who is suspected of driving under the influence, Washington State Patrol trooper Jacob Kennett said on Wednesday night.

The crash is blocking the road in both directions.The driver suspected of driving under the influence was taken into custody.

Collision🚨: SR 2 at Mp 19, East of Monroe, will be fully blocked by a 2 car head on injury collision involving a King County Deputy. The extent of injuries is not fully known at this time and this will likely be an extended road closure while units investigate.
