A spokesperson for the Sussexes says “an immediate decision” about the couple’s attendance will not be disclosed just yet.
After months of speculation and breathless tabloid reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have officially received an invite for King Charles’ coronation.that the couple have “recently received” email correspondence from the monarch's Buckingham Palace household regarding the May event.
Adds their representative, “An immediate decision on whether the Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time.” The Sussexes had kept details of the correspondence private but confirmed receipt after a royal aide briefed Britain’sAlthough the Coronation will take place on May 6, there will be three days of events making up a long celebratory weekend in the U.K.
