Nathan King, a 24-year-old pork salesman from Sanquhar, Scotland, and former butler to King Charles III, made a splash as he entered the Big Brother UK house on October 6.

King, whose fitting surname adds to his royal association, previously worked at Dumfries House in Ayrshire, one of King Charles’ Scottish residences. The Scotsman, introduced as ‘Housemate number 4’ in the 21st season of the UK reality show, didn’t hesitate to drop names of the famous figures he once catered to.“People’s first impression of me… They might think I’m a bit stuck up, slightly in love with myself, which is not all wrong,” Mr King said.
When asked what he would do with the prize money, Mr King revealed a personal indulgence: “I’m quite vain. I got composite bonding on my teeth last year. Grant Harrold, 46, also a former butler to King Charles, has since become a British etiquette expert and broadcaster.
