The Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Raja Permaisuri Agong extended their Hari Raya Aidiladha greetings to all Muslims in Malaysia today.
In a post by Istana Negara on Facebook, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah prayed that the sacrifices of Malaysians in maintaining harmony and well-being of the country will be rewarded by Allah SWT.
Their Majesties were accompanied in Mecca by Pahang Regent Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah as well as their children. “The struggle to move forward calls us to set aside ego and the interests of family and relatives for the benefit of the people as a whole, especially those that are weak and marginalised.
“On this day we celebrate by reflecting on how willing we are to sacrifice for the good of the ummah , which is a much-treasured characteristic in creating a Madani society,” he said on Facebook.
