Kim Kardashian's brand SKIMS pledges $1M to help mums and kids during Covid-19 But not everyone is impressed with the donation
The bootylicious babe is rarely seen on or off the red carpet in anything but a clingy number, so it came as no surprise that Kim launched a lingerie foundation line that was all about sculpting and shaping.
This week is the brand’s six month anniversary and to celebrate Kim planned to restock her original styles that disrupted the shape wear market in 9 tonal shades and sizes XXS to 5X.Instead Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to let fans know that SKIMS would be donating $1million from sales of the line to help mother’s and children through the global pandemic.
But while donating $1 million from SKIMS will of course be gratefully received by recipients during this difficult time, fans were divided as to whether the star was really doing enough. But other’s felt that Kim should have donated from her personal fortune like sister Kylie Jenner who donated $1 million to help medical staff in the US with protective equipment.
