The Kremlin has said it has nothing to say on the matter
A widely anticipated meeting between the two autocratic leaders could take place as early as Tuesday, the newspaper reported.
The meeting has not been confirmed by the Kremlin, which has said it has “nothing to say” on the matter, though President Putin is due to speak this week at an economic forum in Russia’s Pacific port of Vladivostok, 6,500km east of Moscow, which is believed to be the most likely location for the meeting.
But Russian the news agency Interfax reported that Mr Kim was expected imminently in the country’s far east. “We have been preparing for Kim Jong Un’s visit for a long time,” a local official told the agency.
