Dozens of children at two primary schools are to be equipped with new laptops – thanks to an “unbelievable” community-led fundraising campaign.
The amazing effort means head teacher Helen Anderson can purchase 30 new laptops – 15 for each school. Helen was thrilled that her schools would be getting new IT kit thanks to the two-wheeled fundraiser.“We are lucky to have him as a neighbour and also as a supporter of our schools. Ian added: “The first day was absolutely mental with the amount of people going to get on the exercise bikes.“I also can’t thank enough the participants and everybody who donated – it was wonderful, fantastic.”
