Children 12 and under will be able to ski free Dec. 7-13, according to Alterra Mountain Company.
Skiers and snowboarders gather their gear after disembarking the Amtrak Winter Park Express ski train at Winter Park Resort Alterra Mountain Company, which operates 19 ski resorts in North America including two in Colorado, will offer free skiing for kids during the second week of December.
Kids can receive a free lift ticket for daily use from Dec. 7-13, and they don’t need to be accompanied by a paying adult. No other purchase is necessary. To take advantage of the offer, visitors should go through the website of the participating resort or visit Guest Services at the resort.“Winter is here and we want to help families get on the mountain this season,” Alterra chief executive Jared Smith said in the news release.
