There's a new local executive in charge at Kidder Mathews.
Commercial real estate brokerage Kidder Mathews has named David Nelson to oversee its Northern California and Nevada operations.
Nelson was appointed regional president of brokerage in charge of offices in San Francisco, Redwood Shores, Silicon Valley, Pleasanton, Sacramento and Reno. The 18-year real estate veteran most recently was regional manager of Marcus & Millichap’s San Francisco, East Bay and North Bay markets. He started that role in 2016. Before that, Nelson held positions at Paragon Commercial Brokerage and Paragon Real Estate Group.Luhrs' LinkedIn profile shows he left Kidder Mathews in June and is serving as a commercial real estate consultant.
Seattle-based Kidder Mathews bills itself as the largest independently owned brokerage on the West Coast, with 20 offices in five states. In the five-county Bay Area, Kidder Mathews completed $1.21 billion in leasing and sales transactions in 2021, making it the seventh-largest brokerage.
