During their most recent court appearance, Judge Robert Henney noted that no judges have been available to tend to this case due to a backlog in the court roll. Furthermore, 20 judges are currently occupied with other criminal matters. ‘So, it’s impossible to deal with this matter in the first term [of 2024]. This kind of case will take some time.’Nyalara, an ex-teacher-turned-taxi-owner from Cofimvaba in the Eastern Cape, is accused of orchestrating the murders.
