Khanna and Massie spearheaded the push for passing the Epstein Files Transparency Act last year.

by MINA ALLEN & ANISSA REYES | The National News DeskWASHINGTON, DC - FEBRUARY 09: U.S. Rep. Ro Khanna and Rep. Thomas Massie arrive to speak to reporters about the Epstein files outside the offices of the Department of Justice on February 9, 2026 in Washington, DC.

Khanna and Massie, the co-authors of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, were permitted to review an unredacted version of the Epstein files today as part of their ongoing investigation. California's Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna and Republican Rep. Thomas Massie held a press conference after visiting the Department of Justice to review unredacted documents from the Epstein Files. Khanna and Massie spearheaded the push for passing the Epstein Files Transparency Act last year. While speaking to press outside the DOJ the Democratic congressmen revealed that "there are six men, some of them with their photographs that have been redacted" from the files. When pressed by reporters on the names and identities of the six men mentioned, Rep. Massie revealed that one is a U.S. citizen, "at least one is a foreigner" and the "other three or four have names, I'm not sure are foreign or US," adding that one of the men is "pretty high up in foreign government." Reporters also asked if President Donald Trump was mentioned and the representatives said they did not enter the president's name in the search engine and are unable to verify. Massie called on the DOJ to "go back and check their own homework," urging them to release the unredacted files."The survivors standing in front of the Capitol twice is why @RepThomasMassie & I were able to pass the Epstein Transparency Act. Tomorrow, Massie and I will go together to the DOJ to see the unredacted files. We will not rest until the Epstein class is brought to justice," Khanna posted to X on Sunday. Massie took to his social media platform to gather suggestions for which unredacted documents he should read. "Tomorrow I will go to DOJ to view the unredacted Epstein files. Which docs should I view?" the congressman also asked in a X post on Sunday."Headed to the DOJ this week as well. Thank you @RepThomasMassie for the post below; very helpful suggestions from all those who chimed in.
