With polling day looming on July 4, the Record has the lowdown for voters in the newly renamed seat of Lothian East, from candidates to top issues.
The Daily Record is taking out some time during this busy general election campaign to focus on seats-to-watch in Scotland.
Recently, the seat has become something of a three-way marginal, with the Tories producing strong third-placed showings in 2019 and 2017. It still encompasses nearly all of the county of East Lothian - but it’s given a few bits away to the new, neighbouring constituency of Edinburgh East and Musselburgh.It covers East Lothian’s biggest towns like Haddington, Prestonpans and Tranent and its famous coastal tourist hotspots like North Berwick and Dunbar.
