For the second consecutive year, La Salle's Kevin Quiambao and Ateneo's Kacey Dela Rosa have been named the Most Valuable Players in the men's and women's divisions, respectively, of the UAAP basketball tournament. The statistical points leaders were announced on Thursday, with Quiambao and Dela Rosa topping their respective divisions.
MANILA, Philippines — For the second straight year, La Salle's Kevin Quiambao and Ateneo's Kacey Dela Rosa are to be crowned as the Most Valuable Players in the men's and women's divisions, respectively, of the UAAP basketball tournament.The UAAP released the statistical points leaders on Thursday with Quiambao and Dela Rosa topping their respective divisions.Quiambao normed 81.35 SPs built on averages of 16.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 4.0 assists, while Dela Rosa garnered 96.
53 SPs but he's ineligible to make the men's best five since only one foreign student-athlete may enter the team which is Konateh in this case since he generated more SPs.On top of that, Momowei also got ejected and served a one-game suspension following his two unsportsmanlike fouls against UST on November 9, automatically disqualifying him for winning any individual awards.
