In an analogy, O’Leary compared a supposed powerful inner group of Democratic leaders to stock market managers. These Democrats tried to “beat the S&P 500” by selecting Harris instead of accepting the selection of “the market,” symbolized by Democratic primary voters, he explained. CNN anchor Abby Phillip fired back, telling O'Leary "I know that you are from Canada, but the primary process in this country is not in the Constitution."
