Kesha released 'Dear Me,' on January 24, a song written by Diane Warren to herself featured in her 'Relentless' documentary.
“We all know that Diane Warren is one of the most iconic songwriters of our time, but many people don’t know that my connection with her is multigenerational,” Kesha said in a statement, reminiscing on her mother Pebe Sebert writing with Warren in the Eighties.
“I’m so proud of her and I can’t wait for the world to see her documentary, she really is one of a kind, a true genius, a real artist,” Kesha added of the piano ballad. “She’s so committed to her art and it’s so inspiring. I hope you all love the movie, and Diane, I hope I did your song justice.”
