Controversial 'Pastor' Mackenzie Belongs to Jail, That's... CapitalFMKenya: Kenya
Nairobi — President William Ruto has likened controversial pastor Paul Mackenzie of Good News International Church to a terrorist who uses religion to advance what he described as"weird and unacceptable ideologies" after radicalising thousands, some of who starved to death.
Speaking Monday when he presided over the pass-out parade of the Kenya Prisons Service cadets, Ruto called on Kenyans and different agencies in the country to be on the lookout for those who want to abuse the religious sector and those masquerading as religious persons. The Head of State said that he had instructed the agencies responsible to take up the matter and to get to the root cause of the activities of the people who want to use religion to mislead Kenyans in the name of religion.
